Molecular Diagnostics based on Nucleic Acid Amplification are generally the Gold Standard confirmatory test for most infectious diseases. Molecular tests currently available in the market have the following disadvantages

• Require high capital expenditure (10k$ - 50k$ / ₹ 8 Lakhs to ₹ 40 Lakhs) on Equipments for running the tests
• Need for skilled and trained manpower to do precise pipetting and other operations
• Very few point of care options available, which are again very expensive
